Call for Ikebana Essays

International Society of Ikebana Studies (ISIS) welcomes your contribution of essays again for the next volume. The title for essays in the next edition is ” What ikebana taught me” and the due date is 31 July 2014.

The essay should be up to 400 words (in English) and should not contain more than one image (optional). Send your work in the body of an email (not as an attachment) to  info@ikebana-isis.org. Please include the title of your essay, your name, your affiliation (optional) and your address. Attaching an image is optional. It should be less than 1 meg. Your image will be published in black and white.

If your essay is accepted, you will receive a copy of the IJIS that contains your essay for free. Please note that our call for essays is open to anyone interested in Ikebana.

If you know people who might be interested in sharing their Ikebana experiences, please let them know about this opportunity.
